Critical Mob launches

Critical Mob, one of our latest projects is now live. Featuring an terrific array of related music, books, movie, TV, and cultural profiles and review (about both the artists and their respective works), it was one of the most sophisticated ExpressionEngine builds we’ve ever done (designed by the talented group over at Sweden Unlimited).

Some of the challenges we faced were to create an interface that’ll make data entry as easy as possible, as there were quite a large and dense volume of entries and related data. Just as importantly, we wanted to install a very granular set of toggles to control exactly where and how a certain piece of information appears on the site. In the end, Critical Mob pushed ExpressionEngine close to its limits, but we were able to bring a highly complex data structure into EE’s framework and successfully launch the beta site, now open at www.criticalmob.com.
